Happy Colorado Day!
Colorado Day celebrates the anniversary of when Colorado became a state on August 1, 1876. This significant event happened during America’s centennial year, earning Colorado the nickname “The Centennial State.” Before statehood, Colorado was home to many Native American tribes, including the Ute, Cheyenne, and Arapaho.
