New Flights Announced for Winter to Vail's Airport (EGE)

New Non-Stop Flights to Eagle/ Vail Airport to Welcome Skiers from Washington D.C. Area and Phoenix

Beginning this December, United Airlines will fly non-stop between its hub at Washington/Dulles (IAD) and Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE), the closest airport to Vail and Beaver Creek and 2 hours from Aspen/Snowmass Village. A new, non-stop service from American Airlines will also begin flying to EGE from Phoenix’s Sky Harbor Airport. United Airline’s flights from Washington/Dulles begin on Saturday, Dec. 24 and end April 1, 2017. The depart IAD at 12:30 pm and arrive to EGE at 2:45 pm. American Airlines will operate the Phoenix-Vail route daily December 15, 2016- January 8, 2017. This flight departs PHX at 1:15 pm and arrives to EGE at 2:55 pm. Service drops to Wednesday and Saturday 1/11/2017 - 2/11/2017 and then adds a Sunday flight for three flights/ week from 2/15/2017 - 4/2/2017.

Eagle County Regional Airport is conveniently located approximately 25 miles from Beaver Creek and 35 miles from Vail. CME shuttles serve Vail and Beaver Creek, and Aspen/Snowmass. Private SUVs for up to 5 guests are also available, as are private chartered vans for groups of up to 10 guests.
